Reporting content

People can upload pictures to their own campaign here — a portrait for a character, a reference image for a place. Those uploads are not screened before they are stored, and they are visible only to the members of that one table. If something stored here infringes your rights or is otherwise unlawful, this page is how you tell us, and what we do about it.

This is the notice-and-action mechanism required of a hosting service by Article 16 of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).

Where to send it

info@lestapenna.quest, with [NOTICE] at the start of the subject line so it is not lost among the bug reports. Any language is fine; English or Italian will be read fastest.

You do not need an account, and you do not need a lawyer to write it.

What a report should contain

All four, because a report missing any of them usually cannot be acted on and we have to write back and ask:

What happens next

  1. We confirm we received it, to the address you wrote from.
  2. We look at the material and decide without undue delay. This is a one-person project, not a moderation department: a decision is made by a human reading your report, and no automated tool is used to make it.
  3. If the material is unlawful, we remove it or disable access to it, and tell you what we did.
  4. We tell whoever uploaded it what was removed and on what grounds, with your report's reasoning — a statement of reasons under Article 17.

If you think we got it wrong

Whoever uploaded the material can reply to the removal notice and explain why it should be restored, and we will reconsider. A report made in error should be correctable, and a removal that nobody can contest is its own kind of problem.

Deliberately false or abusive reports, and repeated uploading of infringing material, both lead to losing access — the two failures are treated the same way, and for the same reason.

What this page is not for

A bug, or the Bot misbehaving on a server: use $report ($segnala) in Discord or the red button in the web app. Your own data — a copy of it, or its erasure: you do not need to write to anyone, $mydata and $forgetme do it themselves, and the Privacy Policy explains the rest. A security vulnerability: see SECURITY.md in the source repository.
